Europe's largest hunting show, JAGD & HUND, is just around the corner, with countless exhibitors once again set to present their hunting and outdoor products in a total of nine halls starting on 28 January 2025. The show will also feature exciting competitions and an informative supporting programme. To make it somewhat easier for visitors to find their way around JAGD & HUND, the 2025 show will again have exciting speciality zones with products and services grouped by subject area. These include the KNIFE ZONE, to be reprised following its début in 2024, the 'Jagdwelt' retail area also introduced last time, and FISCH & ANGEL which is once again an integral part of the hunting show.
Dortmund, 18 December 2024 – Visitors to the KNIFE ZONE can expect more than just sellers offering the right blades for their hunting or outdoor activities – it will also have its own stage complete with an informative supporting programme. As well as showcasing the products themselves, there will also be a lot of knowledge input, for example on the choice of knife in the 'Wildkammer' game room and on what to look out for in a hunting knife. On Saturday (1 February) at 15:30 hrs, the KNIFE ZONE Stage will once again play host to the presentation of the Knife Award, to which exhibitors are able to submit entries in advance. Anyone looking for the right tool will find Solingen companies PUMA and OTTER, Forge Works from Freiburg and MAIN KNIVES from Lithuania sporting their products in Hall 5.
The 'Jagdwelt' hunting world in Hall 8 will again be a retail area covering over 3,000 square metres. Working with Jagdwelt24, JAGD & HUND will present an extensive selection of top suppliers and well-known brands in all parts of the hunting world this time including businesses such as Anschütz (rifles), Härkila and Gehetec (outdoor clothing and other hunting equipment). HIKMICRO and Leica will present hunting optics, while Wild Land Drivers will have the right equipment for your off-road vehicle, while Roedale will present silencers and ICU game cameras.
The special thing about 'Jagdwelt' is that, as well as shopping to your heart's content, you can also test some of the products at special stands, with knowledgeable advice and exclusive show offers thrown in.
From fishing tackle to innovations in lures, lines, reels, special equipment and clothing, there will again be plenty to see at FISCH & ANGEL 2025 which will have everything you need for your next big catch. Active anglers – and those wishing to become one – will be able to find inspiration here on all aspects of fishing and sea angling, and can look forward to an all-in-one-place exhibition plus a free talks programme.
Online store Angelgeräte Fahrenkrog, for example, will have everything an angler's heart desires – from landing nets, rods, reels and fish traps to fishing accessories and functional clothing. Fish! Angelshop Haren and Angelshop Dorsten will be coming along with extensive ranges of equipment. A visit to Topwater Productions should be particularly exciting as the company is known for spectacular fishing scenes on film sets as well as for first-class fishing rods and accessories. The German Pike Anglers' Club (DHC) and Dortmund Angling Club 1901 will also be in attendance.
The free talks programme at FISCH & ANGEL will offer valuable insider tips and tricks on a host of topics related to angling and recreational fishing. Experts will include Thorsten Ahrens, Benedikt Götzfried, Veit Wilde, Michael Kahlstadt, Uwe Pinnau and Ingolf Austin who will share their knowledge in entertaining info slots on topics such as 'Modern Fly Fishing', trout and perch fishing, and fishing in Norway and Iceland.
